Policies
Policies allow sets of configuration data to be applied to one or more computers, providing a consistent method of configuring computers that are in similar roles.
Polices can include performance data to collect, together with scaling factors, thresholds, charting and alerting options, services to monitor and responses to monitored incidents.
ServerAssist is shipped with a number of pre-defined policies that help to ensure consistent, accurate and effective server monitoring. Additional polices can be created to represent the specific monitoring configurations required by individual enterprises.
A number of separate policies can be applied wholly or in part to an individual computer or an entire group, and when applying a policy, an existing configuration can be either extended or replaced.
